Bud’s Automotive Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Driver to join our Equipment Hauling Division. As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting equipment to various locations in Bowling Green, VA and Ruther Glen, VA. We offer a competitive salary range of $22 to $28 per hour, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

**Job Overview:**

As a CDL Driver in our Equipment Hauling Division, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading equipment to and from job sites. You will ensure that all equipment is securely fastened and safely transported in accordance with all federal and state regulations, including adherence to all FMCSA regulations and random drug testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment, as well as maintaining accurate records of each trip.

**Responsibilities:**

- Safely operate and drive a variety of equipment hauling vehicles

- Load and unload equipment in a safe and efficient manner

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment

- Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing the transportation of equipment, including FMCSA regulations

- Maintain accurate records of each trip, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members

- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all equipment hauling vehicles

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts during the spring and summer months

- Must adhere to our drug-free workplace policy

**Requirements:**

- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in equipment hauling

- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation of equipment, including FMCSA regulations

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed

- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
