Dispatcher – Home Services (Experienced)

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $16-$22 + Benefits (Pay is highly based on experience)

Schedule: 8-5 M-F

We’re seeking an experienced Dispatcher who understands the pace of home services, communicates clearly, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and schedule technicians for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, and construction services
  • Manage high-volume inbound calls and service requests
  • Coordinate daily schedules, route optimization, and job prioritization
  • Communicate job details, changes, and expectations with field technicians
  • Provide customers with accurate ETAs, updates, and follow-up communication
  • Handle emergency and same-day service calls efficiently
  • Maintain detailed job notes in dispatching software / CRM systems
  • Support office operations and contribute to a collaborative team culture

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of dispatching experience (home services strongly preferred)
  • Experience with field service scheduling, routing, and technician coordination
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
  • Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and CRM systems
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Team-focused mindset with a customer-first attitude
