Experienced Residential Electrical Apprentice

Before You Apply

We want to respect your time and ours. This is an experienced apprentice position, not an entry-level position.

Please apply if you:

• Have at least 2 years of hands-on residential electrical experience
• Have experience in residential service and/or residential new construction
• Know how to use common electrical hand and power tools
• Have basic experience with residential wiring, circuits, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting
• Have reliable transportation
• Have a history of being reliable and showing up for work
• Can provide work references from previous employers or supervisors
• Are looking for a company where you can stay, learn, and grow

Please do not apply if:

• You have less than 2 years of electrical field experience
• Your electrical experience is commercial only
• Your experience is mainly classroom or electrical school with little field experience
• You have had several short-term jobs over the past few years without a reasonable explanation
• You do not have reliable transportation
• You cannot provide references from previous employers or supervisors

What will you do?

You'll work alongside experienced electricians on residential service calls and projects.

You'll help with:

• Troubleshooting and electrical repairs
• Residential wiring and new circuits
• Panel upgrades and replacements
• Lighting installations
• Outlets, switches, and other devices
• Preparing tools and materials
• Keeping jobsites and work vehicles clean and organized

You'll be expected to work, learn, ask questions, and become more independent as your skills improve.

Are we looking for someone to just carry tools?

No.

We're looking for someone who wants to become a skilled residential electrician.

You don't need to know everything. You're applying for an experienced apprentice position—not a senior electrician position.

But you should already have a good residential electrical foundation and be ready to build on it.

What does it pay?

$20–$22 per hour, based on your experience and what you can do in the field.

You'll also have the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses.
