Warehouse Worker – DC Lottery Contract

Location: Washington, D.C.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (excluding holidays)

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.50/hour, with annual increases

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Worker for Brothers Transportation LLC under the DC Lottery Ticket Distribution Services contract, you'll be on the frontlines of inventory, fulfillment, and shipping operations that support over $40 million in annual ticket sales. This is a full-time, physically active role within a secure government facility, perfect for someone detail-oriented, dependable, and driven by purpose.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship lottery ticket orders with precision and accuracy
  • Receive, store, and organize inventory using standard warehouse procedures
  • Perform regular inventory counts and enter data in the BOS (Intralot) system
  • Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and maintaining clean, safe warehouse conditions
  • Follow all proper handling and safety protocols, including use of hand trucks and tape guns
  • Collaborate with Tel-Sell team to coordinate outbound shipments based on agent orders
  • Communicate any unresolved issues or discrepancies to onsite DC Lottery supervisors

Requirements

  • Must pass a security background check
  • Must not play the lottery in the District of Columbia while employed under this contract
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
