Brothers Plumbing Overview

Some plumbers show up, do the work, and leave. That is not who we are looking for.

Brothers Plumbing is a locally owned and family-operated company serving property owners who value real plumbing expertise and a high-end service experience. We built our reputation on three things: upfront pricing, exceptional service, and the kind of personal care that only comes from a company rooted in the community it serves. We back every job with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee — and your work as an installer is a direct part of how we earn it.

We are looking for a Tradesman or Journeyman Plumber who takes genuine pride in the quality of their installations, brings speed and efficiency without cutting corners, and understands that every job they complete is a direct reflection of Brothers Plumbing in San Angelo. We use The Brothers Service Method as our proven standard for how we operate — and we will train you in it.

If you are hungry to grow in the plumbing trade, ready to be developed by a company that actually invests in its people, and motivated by doing excellent work — we want to talk.

About the Role

The Tradesman or Journeyman Plumbing Installer is responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing installation work in residential and commercial settings — with speed, precision, and craftsmanship. This role is focused on great quality and fast work. You will take pride in every installation, operate with excellence, and represent Brothers Plumbing in the homes and buildings of San Angelo in a way that raises the bar on what this trade looks like.

We facilitate a 5 Star Process to optimize the customer’s experience: Prepare, Set the Tone, Diagnose the Issue, Create Estimate Options, Do the Work, and Close the Call. You will be trained in this process and expected to operate within it on every job.

We are seeking plumbers with a strong desire to grow in the trade, a genuine commitment to quality work, and the work ethic to match. This is a role for someone who shows up, gives their best, and wants to build something.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current plumbing license — Tradesman or Journeyman (or actively working toward licensure)
  • Solid installation experience: rough-in work, trim-out, fixture installation, pipe assembly
  • Proficiency with copper, PVC, and PEX systems (soldering, brazing, and mechanical methods)
  • Strong understanding of Texas plumbing code and current regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional — you show up and you show up ready
  • Coachable and growth-oriented — you want to get better and you welcome feedback
  • Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
  • Ability to pass a background check and random drug screen

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on installation role. You should be comfortable with the following:

  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs; carrying a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted over 250 feet
  • Climbing ladders and working at various heights and in confined or awkward spaces
  • Operating handheld power tools safely with required PPE at all times
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions and on concrete or uneven surfaces for extended periods
  • Working more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day as needed
  • Exposure to odors associated with sewer and water systems, power tool noise, dust, and construction debris

Brothers Plumbing is an equal opportunity employer. We believe in building a team that reflects the community we serve.
