What You Will Do

As a Licensed Plumber at Brothers Plumbing, you are the face of the company every time you pull up to a customer's home or job site. You will diagnose issues thoroughly, present customers with clear options, and do the work right the first time. You will follow our Five-Star Service Process on every call, manage your truck stock, complete job documentation in Housecall Pro, and debrief with Dispatch after every job.

This is a full-service plumbing role covering installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair across residential and commercial properties. No two days look the same, and that is part of what makes it a good job.

We use a performance-based pay structure tied to average ticket, closing rate, and customer experience. The top performers on our team are not just great plumbers — they are great at presenting options, building trust with customers, and completing the full service process from first knock to final invoice. If you can do that consistently, your paycheck will reflect it.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Texas plumbing license: Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master (TSBPE)
• Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and repair across residential and commercial applications
• Strong customer communication skills — you can explain a plumbing issue in plain language and present options clearly
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must pass a background check and random drug testing
• Housecall Pro or comparable field service software experience preferred
• Associate degree preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

This is a physical job. You should be comfortable with the following:

• Climbing ladders and working in tight or awkward spaces
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 25 pounds over distance
• Operating handheld power tools with proper safety practices
• Wearing required personal protective equipment
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat
• Standing or working on concrete or uneven surfaces for extended periods
• Exposure to odors, sounds, dust, and debris typical of plumbing and construction environments
• Occasional workdays exceeding 8 hours when job demands it

*Signing Bonus — Terms and Conditions

Upon hire, you will receive a $1,000 signing bonus. To retain the full bonus, you must remain employed with Brothers Plumbing for a minimum of 12 consecutive months from your hire date. If you voluntarily resign prior to your one-year anniversary, the full $1,000 bonus is required to be repaid to Brothers Plumbing. Repayment terms will be outlined in your offer letter. This offer applies to new hires only and is not available to rehires or current employees.
