We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and confident in both patient care and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and recover surgical patients
- Collect and process laboratory samples
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Take and develop radiographs
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, nutrition, and treatment plans
- Provide compassionate restraint and nursing care for patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and surgical areas
Qualifications
- Current Veterinary Technician license/certification/registration in the state
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and venipuncture preferred
- Fear Free or low-stress handling experience is a plus
