Schedule
Part-Time
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This schedule is ideal for someone looking for evening and weekend hours while making a meaningful impact in pediatric healthcare.
What You’ll Do
Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:
- Administer pediatric immunizations following CDC and clinic guidelines
- Obtain vital signs, height, weight, head circumference, vision, and hearing screenings
- Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
- Perform telephone triage using established protocols
- Answer parent questions and provide education within LPN scope of practice
- Schedule well visits, sick visits, follow-up appointments, and immunization visits
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing (Strep, Flu, RSV, COVID-19, urinalysis, glucose, hemoglobin, etc.)
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Process medication refill requests according to clinic protocols
- Communicate laboratory and diagnostic results as directed by providers
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
- Maintain vaccine inventory, temperature logs, and proper storage procedures
- Prepare and stock exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Complete school, daycare, sports, and medication forms as assigned
- Help ensure an exceptional patient experience for every child and family
Qualifications
Required
- Current Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent outpatient pediatric primary care experience required
- Experience with pediatric immunizations, telephone triage, and EHR documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Please note: Experience in hospitals, long-term care, home health, correctional healthcare, or adult-only settings does not meet the required outpatient pediatric experience for this position.
