Job Title: Medical Assistant (Pediatrics)

Job Type: Part-Time

Locations: Broken Arrow, OK | Bixby, OK | Tulsa, OK

Pay: $18–$21 per hour based on experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering excellent care to pediatric patients. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.


Shift Options (Choose What Fits Your Life)

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Mon- Friday (Full Time)
  • 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Mon-Friday (Part Time)
  • 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Mon-Friday (Part Time)

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during patient exams and procedures
  • Take and document vital signs and patient history
  • Administer vaccines and medications as directed
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients
  • Complete well visit screeners and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Support Vaccine for Children (VFC) program processes and compliance
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
  • Support patient flow and assist with scheduling as needed
  • Educate families on care plans and medications
  • Follow all HIPAA and infection control protocols

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Medical Assistant certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience
  • Experience with Vaccines for Children (VFC) program
  • Immunization administration experience
  • Experience completing well visit screeners
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

  • Part-time weekday schedule
  • Fast-paced pediatric clinic environment
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
  • Must have dependable transportation and childcare arrangements
