About Bridger Ski Foundation

Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) is a nonprofit community ski organization based in Bozeman, Montana. We provide and fund educational and competitive programs for all ages, year round, in Nordic, Alpine, Freeskiing, Freestyle, Freeride, Skimo, and Snowboarding. BSF also grooms an incredible network of free community Nordic ski trails for the public in Bozeman. With roots dating back to 1936, BSF has a long, rich history of keeping skiing a grassroots, volunteer-based activity for local families.

Description

‬‬Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF), is seeking qualified Nordic Assistant Coaches for the 2025/26 season.‬ BSF offers educational and competitive programs in Alpine, Nordic, Freestyle, and‬ Freeskiing disciplines.‬


We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who align with our mission of "Fostering personal growth, athletic development, and community wellness through‬ accessible skiing and winter trail stewardship."

‭Open Positions‬

Part-Time Seasonal Coaches‬

  • ‭Position: Intro Assistant Coaches‬
  • ‭Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons 4:00-5:30
  • ‭Start Date: January 12
  • ‭End Date: March 5‬

Part-Time Seasonal Coaches‬

  • ‭Position: Devo Fall Assistant Coaches‬
  • ‭Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday afternoons 4:00-5:30
  • ‭Start Date: September 23
  • ‭End Date: November 6


Part-Time Seasonal Coaches‬

  • ‭Position: Devo Winter Assistant Coaches‬
  • ‭Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons 4:00-5:30 + Saturday 9:00 - 11:00 am
  • ‭Start Date: November 11
  • ‭End Date: March 12

‭‭ Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):‬

  • ‬‭ Work independently and as part of a coaching team across all age groups‬
  • ‬‭ Communicate clearly with Nordic Directors, Head Coaches, athletes, and parents‬
  • ‬‭ Create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment aligned with BSF’s mission
  • ‬‭ Independently or with a co-coach, lead athlete training sessions‬
  • ‬‭ Represent BSF professionally within the Gallatin Valley and surrounding communities‬


Requirements‬:

  • ‬‭ In good standing with U.S. Ski & Snowboard‬ Association
  • ‬‭ Pass a background check, complete SafeSport training, and meet USSA compliance‬ requirements
  • ‬‭ Prior coaching experience preferred‬
