Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF), is seeking qualified Part-Time Seasonal Assistant Coaches for the 2025/26 season for the following programs:
- Freeskiing Team
- Freestyle Devo Team
- Freeride Prep Team
- Club Team (formerly Intro) for youn skiers learning both Alpine & "Free" skills
Assistant Coaches will work closely with lead coaches to provide a safe, fun, and progression-focused environment for athletes. These roles are ideal for passionate skiers who enjoy working with youth athletes, want to build their coaching experience, and are excited to be part of a dynamic coaching community.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Support head/lead coaches in daily training sessions on snow, in dryland, or at trampoline/gym facilities.
- Help facilitate skill development, safety, and progression appropriate to the age and ability of athletes.
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.
- Assist with travel, competition support, and team communication when needed.
- Ensure a safe training environment by following BSF and US Ski & Snowboard guidelines.
Requirements:
- Strong skiing background (competitive experience in Freestyle, Freeride, or Freeskiing a plus, but not required).
- Previous coaching or teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to connect with youth athletes in a supportive and motivating way.
- Must complete background check and SafeSport training (provided by BSF).
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow as a coach.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
- A season pass to Bridger Bowl for coaches who work 2 or more days a week.
