Brand Builders Group Events and Sponsorships Manager Nashville, TN · Full time Company website

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO --- We're Looking for a Person Who Turns Events into Full Blown Experiences --- Our company runs more than 30 events a year and for a long time I ran almost all of it myself. But the more we grow, the more our members deserve someone whose full-time job is making every one of those moments extraordinary, not squeezed between everything else. For the last eight years we have built Brand Builders Group on the belief that everyone has something valuable to say. We went from zero to eight figures by obsessing over the experience our clients have with us, and we're now entering our most aggressive growth chapter yet … with events as one of our biggest levers. If you're the kind of person who feels a little adrenaline when a room comes together, who notices the detail nobody else would have caught, who can sell a sponsor on a vision and a member on a ticket in the same afternoon, this is a calling as much as it is a career. Take a look at the job description below, apply and we'd love to meet you. With belief in what's ahead, AJ Vaden CEO & Co-Founder, Brand Builders Group

What You’ll Do

Event Operations & Logistics

  • Own the full annual event calendar — 35+ virtual and in-person events per year, plus internal company meetings and gatherings
  • Run registration end to end: capacity, waitlists, automation sequences, CRM integration, and the cancellation and no-show workflows that protect revenue per event
  • Lead venue selection, contract negotiation, catering, AV, and on-site staffing for all in-person events
  • Own event project plans and budgets from cost estimate through reconciliation, proactively improving ROI

Event Marketing, Promotion & Communication

  • Own all event marketing assets and promotional campaigns in partnership with the marketing team, keeping every registration page accurate and conversion-optimized
  • Drive our Speaker Showcase ticket sales — pricing strategy, promotion, and distribution
  • Promote events across all BBG-owned channels and build external reach into aligned communities like NSA, EO, and Toastmasters
  • Manage discount and comp ticket strategy, including partnership exchanges and member upgrades

Event Experience & Format

  • Own the attendee journey from registration through post-event follow-up
  • Curate the experiential details — music, breakouts, surprises, engagement moments — that make every BBG event feel premium, whether virtual or in-person
  • Drive agenda design and format evolution across all event types, coordinating with the content team to fill topic gaps and keep programming fresh

Sponsorship & Revenue

  • Build BBG’s event sponsorship program from the ground up — tiers, packages, and pricing — including podcast sponsorship for the Wealthy and Well-Known podcast
  • Prospect, pitch, and close sponsorship deals, then own the relationship from contract through fulfillment, reporting, and renewal

  • Design and deliver emcee training and roundtable host certification for virtual and in-person programs
  • Brief event-day staff, coach facilitators post-event, and continuously sharpen run books and playbooks

WHO YOU ARE

  • An ownership mindset — you don't wait to be told, you identify what needs to happen and you make it happen
  • Detail-obsessed and experience-driven — you notice the music is wrong, the room is too cold, and the agenda is 3 minutes off
  • Comfortable closing — you're energized by presenting opportunities, handling objections and confidently closing sponsorships that align with our mission
  • A builder and a relational person— this role will require you to create systems, processes, and programs that don't yet exist and build connections with sponsors, vendors and attendees.
  • Mission-aligned — you believe that personal branding changes lives, and working here feels like more than a job

YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE THAT LOOKS LIKE

  • 8–10+ years of progressive event management responsibility across virtual and in-person programs

  • Event marketing campaigns with a track record of driving registration
  • Proficiency with CRM, registration platforms like Eventbrite, email automation, and virtual event tools
  • Bonus points: B2B or professional development events, speaker training or facilitation coaching, personal brand industry familiarity, and Nashville venue relationships

We move quickly in a lean environment, which means we embrace quick pivots when needed, proactively innovate, and require a high level of ownership. Nashville-based team members gather for quarterly socials and community give-backs, and twice a year the entire company comes together for multi-day meetings focused on planning, connection, and service.
