Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Front Desk / Tech to join our psychiatry office. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
- Collect copayments and verify patient information
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Coordinate and manage patient flow to ensure timely visits
- Communicate effectively with providers and staff
- Submit medication refill requests with provider authorization
- Maintain accurate records and follow office protocols
- Assist with general office tasks, filing, and documentation
- Use Microsoft Word and basic office software confidently
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical, mental health, administrative, or related office setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and general computer skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to work in person
