Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Front Desk / Tech to join our psychiatry office. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
• Collect copayments and verify patient information
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Coordinate and manage patient flow to ensure timely visits
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff
• Submit medication refill requests with provider authorization
• Maintain accurate records and follow office protocols
• Assist with general office tasks, filing, and documentation
• Use Microsoft Word and basic office software confidently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical, mental health, administrative, or related office setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and general computer skills
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy front desk
• Spanish-speaking preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain patient confidentiality
• Ability to work in person
