Now Hiring for Fall 2026 Programming starting August 3rd! 



What You’ll Do! 


Join our team as a Youth Development Professional and help lead fun, meaningful, and mission-driven after-school programming for the Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln/Lancaster County this fall at Park Middle School or North Star High School. 


Under the direction of the Program Director, you will lead engaging after-school programming for middle and high school students in Lincoln, NE, supporting Boys & Girls Club priority areas including Education & Career Development, Character & Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation. 


You’ll serve as a role model and mentor, demonstrating honesty, respect, and responsibility, and help create a safe, positive environment where every student feels valued and inspired. 


What We Offer!  


  • Competitive Pay: $15.00 an hour

  • Willingness to follow policies, complete documentation, and participate in trainings and professional development 
  • Experience working with youth and/or leading programs preferred 
  • Availability to work 10–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, across at least 3 days (flexible scheduling available) 
  • Reliable transportation to Club sites (Park Middle School or North Star High School) 
  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and successfully pass a background check 

 

Physical Requirements 

 

  • Ability to actively engage with and supervise youth in indoor and outdoor environments 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout program spaces for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of program supplies or equipment 
  • Ability to respond appropriately in active, fast-paced, and sometimes unpredictable environments 
  • Ability to work in a school-based or community environment with varying noise levels and activity
