Essential Job Responsibilities:

·      Advanced experience in scope review, budget analysis, information gathering, basic & advanced programming

·      Advanced knowledge in site surveys, state and local code requirements/research methods, ADA requirements, occupancy types, occupant load calculations, egress planning, plumbing fixture counts/code review

·      Advanced experience in visioning, concept development and space planning

·      Advanced understanding and knowledge of elements and principles of design, color and materials

·      Advanced experience with construction materials and sourcing FF&E specifications/providers

·      Advanced understanding of proper acoustic and lighting planning and specifications

·      Advanced experience in project design specifications, construction documentation production and construction administration

 

Experience & Education:

·      Licensed or registered Interior Designer preferred

·      Bachelor/Master Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited or NAAB-accredited program

·      Remain educated through relevant continuing education-type opportunities

·      Minimum 5+ years of post-graduate professional Design experience, preferably within commercial design

·      Professional written and verbal communication skills

·      Demonstrates collaborative and professional demeaner with clients and other team members

·      Self-directed and motivated

·      Proficient in Revit

·      Proficient in Photoshop and SketchUp

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note)

Salary

$70,000 - $80,000 per year
