Position: Food Program Assistant

Location: Boss Baby Early Learning Center

Type: Part-Time, Flexible Hours

About the Role

Boss Baby Early Learning Center is seeking a caring and dependable individual to support our Food Program, which serves children and the surrounding community. The Food Program Assistant will help ensure meals are prepared, packaged, and distributed in a safe, organized, and timely manner.

Primary Duties

• Prepare and portion meals according to program guidelines
• Package and label meals for delivery and distribution
• Assist with meal delivery or distribution within the center and community
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas
• Keep inventory of food supplies and report shortages
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing compliance standards

Requirements

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Must have a heart to serve children and families
• Ability to lift and carry food items and supplies when needed
• Must pass background check and meet child-care/licensing standards
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in food service, community feeding programs, or childcare settings
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
