This full-time Infrastructure Engineering role will focus on Boomy’s development and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Kubernetes and GCP or AWS required. This position is primarily responsible for owning the internal tooling and deployment of our services and applications.

At Boomy, we’re building the future of music: instant songs with AI-powered music automation, no musical skill or equipment required. Backed by some of the biggest names in music and growing fast, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team.
A strong candidate has experience building scalable systems for the web and closely collaborating with team members. This startup position will require you to solve interesting problems and wear a variety of hats.
We’re looking for highly motivated problem solvers with a passion for operations and CI/CD related tasks. Team members are expected to be self-sufficient, committing to and delivering weekly tasks. The position is a hybrid position with a strong preference for candidates in the Raleigh-Durham, NC region.
You’ll be primarily responsible for:
- Optimizing performance of databases, networks, applications, and servers
- Build out and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize application performance monitoring and notification system
- Report production incidents and track issues until they are resolved
Requirements
- 4+ years of devops experience using cloud based technologies
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Knowledge of the Linux OS and experience debugging system level issues
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or other)
- Experience with application health monitoring infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge of networking within VPC environments
Salary
$110,000 - $175,000 per year
