At Boomy Corporation, we’re building the future of music: songs made by a new generation of creators with AI-powered music automation, no previous musical skill or specialized equipment required. Backed by some of the biggest names in music and growing fast, we’re seeking an experienced Human Resources / Office Manager to join our growing team.


As Boomy onboards new team members and expands its office presence, you’ll help both new and existing employees stay organized and informed. As Boomy’s first HR hire, you’ll wear multiple hats - including recruiting, screening candidates, managing benefits, running payroll, and owning day-to-day office administration. You’ll also help the team stay motivated by designing and planning perks, like company offsites and music events.

While Boomy is a hybrid-remote company, the nature of this role will require office attendance in the Raleigh-Durham / Research Triangle Park North Carolina area.


Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of human resources and/or office management experience, with a strong preference for prior experience working in high-growth startups with expanding headcount
  • Extensive experience screening job applicants
  • HR Generalist skills, including benefits management, compliance, and related areas
  • Proficiency with common HR-related software services like Gusto and Google Workspace
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience resolving employee conflict
  • Ability to work independently and self-organize requests and tasks


You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Assisting management with human resources functions including employee relations, payroll, and compliance 
  • Assisting management with recruiting functions, including screening candidates across multiple departments
  • Day-to-day office management at our RTP, NC office
  • Managing benefits administration, including researching partners for new benefits
  • Planning and executing company events, including offsites and music events


Also:

  • Music industry experience a plus
  • Technical screening experience a plus
  • This position will require occasional light travel

Salary

$50,000 - $85,000 per year
