Job Summary
The Guest Service Expert is the face of Booji Beauty Bar & Co., ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they walk in. This role requires a warm, professional presence with strong skills in communication, organization, sales, and multitasking. You'll manage front desk operations, inventory, guest interactions, and play a key role in the salon’s smooth daily function.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Check guests in and out with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, text messaging platforms, and voicemails.
- Handle appointment scheduling through booking software and convert inquiries into sales.
- Post and manage engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
- Manage and track salon inventory: receive shipments, restock products, update records, and report supply needs.
- Accurately handle cash, card, and digital payments; reconcile financials at end-of-day.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized front desk and salon environment.
- Complete and assist with heavy-duty cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold Booji Beauty’s operational flow and guest service excellence.
- Take initiative with opportunities to grow into a Salon Director role.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 5 to 50 lbs (inventory, product deliveries, cleaning tasks).
- Comfortable standing, sitting, or walking for 2 to 9 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands required for cleaning and organizing.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in customer service, salon management, or business is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in customer service or sales; salon/spa experience preferred.
Core Competencies
- Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Basic math and cash management skills for accurate checkout, tips, and balancing drawers.
- Ability to manage inventory systems and supply ordering workflows.
Technical Proficiency
- Skilled in Apple computers, Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Forms), and Canva.
- Comfortable using salon booking software, text platforms, multi-line phone systems, and voicemail tools.
- Familiar with ChatGPT or other AI tools for task automation, content creation, and guest messaging.
- Social media savvy for posts, replies, promotions, and engagement tracking.

- Extroverted and friendly, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to guest needs.
- Self-motivated and works independently while contributing to team success.
