Job Summary

You’ll perform a wide range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, blowouts, and extensions, in an inclusive space that prioritizes continuous education, professionalism, and artistic excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, welcoming, and professional service to each guest
• Conduct detailed consultations to ensure services align with guest expectations and lifestyle
• Deliver exceptional styling services including:
• Haircutting (dry, wet, or clipper)
• Hair coloring (single process, highlights, balayage, etc.)
• Blowouts, silk presses, and texture styling
• Hair extensions (tape-in, microlink, sew-ins, and more)
• Recommend and upsell products and services tailored to guest needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of your station and shared salon spaces
• Educate guests on at-home maintenance and product usage
• Accurately record services, guest notes, and product sales in booking system
• Collaborate with the team to support salon goals and operational flow
• Attend monthly team meetings, trainings, and education sessions
• Embrace mentorship opportunities, whether learning or leading

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods (4–9 hours per shift)
• Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs (product bins, salon tools, cleaning supplies)

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Colorado Cosmetology License
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
• Passion for hair care, beauty, and continued education
• Comfortable working with a diverse and multicultural guest base
• Schedule: Must be available to work days and weekends

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of salon experience (ideal, not required)
• Familiarity with booking software, Google Suite, and social media
• Desire to grow into a leadership, educator, or specialist role
