You will:
- Operate and develop methods on parallel flash chromatography systems (Interchim PuriFlash XS520Plus / ClearPeak) — column packing, gradient development, fraction pooling
- Run wiped-film and short-path distillation; troubleshoot vacuum and thermal systems
- Execute kg-scale crystallization and recrystallization (CBG, CBD, CBC)
- Handle Class I flammable solvents (pentane, heptane, IPA) safely and within permitted quantities
- Author and maintain SOPs and batch records under our 21 CFR Part 111-aligned Quality Manual
- Review third-party COAs, manage retains, and drive corrective action on out-of-spec lots
You have:
- B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry — or equivalent hands-on process experience
- 3+ years in a production or pilot-scale lab (pharma, nutraceutical, food ingredient, flavor/fragrance, or cannabis all count)
- Real preparative chromatography and distillation experience — not just coursework
- Documentation discipline. If it isn't written down, it didn't happen.
Nice to have: natural product isolation, GMP/dietary supplement environment, C1D1 / flammable-storage familiarity, cannabinoid chemistry.
