Description

The Role

As a Business Operations Associate, you'll be a hands-on business generalist involved in every part of our firm, from marketing and sales to client delivery and front-line office management. You'll spend much of your time delivering work for clients, and you'll use automation, systems and processes to finish assignments on time, under budget and ahead of schedule. You'll work closely with our leadership team, carrying every task through to completion.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver client work directly, including research, document preparation, system setup, quality checks and follow-through on deliverables.
  • Track client engagements from kickoff through delivery and keep deadlines, next steps and status updates current.
  • Serve as a responsive day-to-day contact for clients on scheduling, requests and updates.
  • Support marketing and sales, including campaigns, CRM updates, lead follow-up, proposals and presentations.
  • Manage front-line office duties such as calendars, scheduling, vendors, records and billing follow-up.
  • Find repetitive tasks to automate, then build and document the checklists, templates and workflows that make them repeatable.
  • Help onboard new clients and team members.
  • Follow up on open items until each one is closed, and raise slipping deadlines early with a proposed fix.

What We're Looking For

  • A passion for automation, systems and processes, and a track record of using them to finish work on time, under budget and ahead of schedule.
  • A generalist who enjoys variety and moves easily between client work, marketing, sales and office tasks.
  • Two or more years in operations, client services, sales support or office management.
  • A finisher's mindset and a natural instinct to support teammates and clients.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and learning new software quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a consulting, professional-services or small-business firm.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (HighLevel or similar), automation and AI tools, and project tools.
  • Basic bookkeeping, data and reporting skills.
