What Will You Do?

  • Report to the Director of Operations
  • Physically operate CNC routers, 3D printers, drills, saws, and various other tools and machinery to play a pivotal role in the assembly, testing, deployment, and improvement of our equipment, storefronts, and fleet.
  • The ideal candidate will be self motivated, driven, have eye for detail and willing to take action to fix and remedy problems without waiting for direction.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for emergency issues affecting our daily business across several states. Learn how to service and troubleshoot problems with our current equipment, and provided responsive problem solving and in-person repairs as necessary across the fleet.
  • Communicate regularly with the broader team, to facilitate improvements that lead to improved equipment uptime and higher service quality for both staff and clients. Work closely with all members of our team to ensure that our services run effectively and efficiently across the company.
  • Monitor daily reports and logs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and manage inventory of parts and materials for repairs and new builds.


Notes:

  • 1-3 years of technical, mechanical, electrical or engineering expertise or experience is required, along with the desire to learn, master, and apply more technical concepts. Specifically, previous experience in fabrication/design and mechanical troubleshooting is highly desired.
  • The Operations team is collectively responsible for coordinating daily coverage to watch for and manage any emergencies that may arise. Each member of the operations team will be responsible for providing some of this coverage and some rotating weekend on-call duties are expected.
  • This is a largely in-person position at our offices in Austin, TX. Occasional travel to other BodySpec operating regions will be necessary.
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Heavier loads will require team lifts.


Compensation:

Annual compensation of $47,900 with stock option grants

  • $47,900 annual starting base salary, with salary growth potential, based on performance
  • Up to $6,000 annually in team bonuses, contingent on hitting performance targets (paid out monthly)
  • Stock option grants based on performance
  • We expect both base and bonus compensation to grow as the company grows. Additionally, all base wages are adjusted for inflation and cost of living changes every 6 months.

Salary

$47,900 - $50,000 per year
