We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAAS Advisor Account Manager to join our growing Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of business clients, serving as their trusted advisor. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of outsourced accounting services and providing strategic financial insights to help our clients make informed business decisions and achieve their goals.


Key responsibilities

-Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business needs and goals.

-Financial oversight: Manage and review the ongoing financial operations for clients, including month-end and year-end closing procedures.

-Advisory services: Deliver high-level advisory and consulting services, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects like cost studies and breakeven analysis.

-KPI tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to provide clients with valuable, data-driven insights into their financial health.

-Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements and custom reports to clients, clearly communicating their financial position and strategic implications.

-Team leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, guiding them in their day-to-day activities and professional development.

-Issue resolution: Identify and troubleshoot accounting inconsistencies and variances. Serve as a liaison to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

-Business development: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients and participate in new business development activities.


Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field in a plus.

-CPA designation is a plus.

-3+ years of experience in public or private accounting, preferably in a client-facing or advisory role.

-Proven experience in managing client relationships and driving account growth.

-Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

-Proficiency with accounting software, particularly XERO and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

-Experience with advanced reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tools.

-Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.

-Exceptional attention to detail.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

-Experience leading and mentoring team members.

Salary

$75,000 - $110,000 per year
