We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team, tasked with optimizing a hybrid cloud environment designed to aggregate and process global security and intelligence data for the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of State (DoS). The role involves assessing the current infrastructure, recommending enhancements, and identifying AI/ML tools to enhance situational awareness and support critical decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of hybrid cloud infrastructure, applications, and workflows.
- Provide recommendations for optimization, focusing on containerization, serverless computing, and AI/ML processing.
- Identify and recommend robust security controls, network security measures, and governance policies to ensure FISMA compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify optimal AI/ML tools and workflows tailored to organizational needs.
- Develop a detailed implementation roadmap, prioritizing infrastructure optimization and the integration of advanced processing capabilities.
- Provide continuous improvement and support post-implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud environments, including Azure and AI/ML technologies.
- Strong understanding of network security, FISMA compliance, and cloud governance.
- Experience in developing and implementing roadmaps for complex technical projects.
- Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible
- 5+ Years Relevant Experience
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in intelligence or security-related environments.
- Knowledge of containerization, serverless computing, and AI/ML hardware accelerators.
