Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Position!

Signing Bonus!: A signing bonus ($300 for part-time, $600 for full-time) will be provided and paid out after 6 months of employment.


About Our Company: 

Blossoming Minds Therapy provides evidence-based and individualized speech, language, and educational therapy for children and families through both in-person and Zoom teletherapy appointments. We work with clients in the greater Denver and Front Range areas, as well as across multiple other states throughout the country.


Our Ideal Candidate:

We are currently looking for an experienced SLPA to join our team at a quickly growing private practice in Denver, Colorado. Experience working with children diagnosed with language-based learning disabilities and fluency disorders is preferred, but not required, as our work environment will contain ample opportunities for expanding one’s knowledge base. This opportunity would be a good fit for someone who is looking for an opportunity for continued mentorship in the field of speech-language pathology, someone who is looking to grow with a smaller company, and/or someone who is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in this field.


Positions Open:

  • Full-time employment - Our office hours are approximately 11:00am-7:30pm during the school year. If interested in full-time employment, the position will consist of direct therapy hours and additional hours will be offered through office tasks (i.e., copying, filing, etc.) to supplement therapy hours as needed.
  • Part-time employment -
  • After school hours, Monday-Friday, from approximately 2:00pm/3:00pm-7:30pm, schedule dependent
  • Multiple days per week, with at least a 2-3 day commitment maintaining hours of approximately 11:00am-7:30pm


Primary Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Must have completed a speech-language pathology assistant program
  • Conduct individual speech, language, and educational therapy sessions via in-person and teletherapy (Zoom) modalities


Ideal candidate would: 

  • have strong communication and interpersonal skills, providing education and guidance to students and families, while working closely with other clinicians
  • be flexible, maintain a high level of professionalism, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have a strong attention to detail
  • maintain robust organizational and time management skills, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions in order to monitor progress
  • ensure and maintain confidentiality, and follow HIPAA compliance
  • have experience working with electronic medical record platforms in order to complete daily SOAP notes, previous Zoom experience a plus
  • be willing to collaborate and able to work as part of a team of therapists (including other speech-language pathology assistants, graduate student clinicians, speech-language pathology clinical fellows, and speech-language pathologists)
  • collaborate with supervising SLP in developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals; support with identifying appropriate therapy techniques, materials, and activities to support each client’s specific needs
  • enjoy/want strong mentorship and therapist support with regard to therapeutic approaches for a variety of speech, language, and educational disorders for pediatric clients of all ages

Salary

$27 - $38 per hour
