Our team works with children, teens, adults, and families using a holistic approach that actually considers the whole person—mental, emotional, social, and physical health included. We believe in autonomy and collaboration, not micromanagement or burnout culture. You get to shape your schedule, your caseload, and your professional goals while knowing you’re part of a community that has your back. We offer diverse services—individual, group, and family therapy, plus specialized programs for anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns—so there’s room to grow, specialize, and find your niche. We’re big on continued learning, creative ideas, and clinicians who care as much about showing up authentically as they do about doing good work. Our vibe? Professional but not stiff, structured but not corporate. You’ll find support, transparency, and a genuine sense of belonging here. Blossom isn’t just a place to clock hours—it’s a place to build a career, connect with a team that cheers you on, and make a real difference. If you’re looking for a long-term home that values growth, integrity, and good humor along the way, you’ll fit right in here.

Description

Blossom is hiring a fully licensed clinician for our SPROUTS program, providing outpatient therapy to children and adolescents from dedicated Blossom offices located on site at four public school buildings in the Douglassville/Birdsboro area.

The idea behind SPROUTS is simple: families want their kids in therapy, but getting them there means missed work, evening appointments, and long waitlists. So we bring the office to the students. Your day looks like a normal outpatient day — your own private office, your own caseload, your own clinical judgment — just in a location that makes it far easier for students to actually show up.

You are a Blossom clinician, not a school employee. You are not part of the school's staff, not attending school meetings, and not managing school-side responsibilities.

💰 What You Actually Get

W2 employment. Clear pay. Predictable expectations.

Fee for Service / Part-Time:

  • 12–20 clinical hours per week
  • $60–$72 per clinical hour
  • $15/hour for non-clinical time
  • Late cancel / no-show protection

Salaried:

  • 23–27 clinical hours per week
  • $60,000–$75,000

Raises are tied to caseload consistency and professional performance and reliability. No productivity roulette. No vague bonus structures.

⏰ Schedule

This role follows the school-day calendar.

  • Daytime hours during the school week (roughly 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • No evening or weekend hours required
  • Occasional after-school availability may be helpful depending on student needs

🏫 What SPROUTS Actually Is

SPROUTS is standard outpatient therapy, delivered from a Blossom office that happens to sit inside a school building. Sessions are scheduled, billed through insurance, and documented exactly as they would be at any of our other locations. The address is different; the clinical work is not.

To be direct about what this role is not: you are not a school counselor, and you are not embedded in the school's support structure. You won't be sitting in IEP or 504 meetings, joining student support team meetings, consulting with teachers on classroom behavior plans, or taking on school-assigned duties. Your relationship is with your clients and their families.

Students you'll see are navigating:

  • Anxiety and emotional regulation
  • Behavioral challenges
  • Identity development and life transitions
  • Peer relationships and social challenges
  • Family stress and adjustment

You focus on clinical care. We handle intake, scheduling, and administrative support.

🛋️ The Work

You will provide:

  • Individual therapy for K–12 students
  • Small group counseling when appropriate
  • Clinical assessments and treatment planning
  • Ethical, timely documentation
  • Ongoing communication with parents and guardians

🧠 Support That's Actually There

Working out of a school office doesn't mean working alone. You remain a full part of the Blossom clinical team, with access to:

  • Regular case consultation
  • Peer consultation groups
  • Optional supervision and mentorship
  • Support when expanding into new specialties (trauma, neurodivergence, youth mental health)

You won't be isolated — and you won't be micromanaged either.

🎯 Who Thrives Here

This role is a strong fit if you:

  • Are fully licensed in Pennsylvania (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW)
  • Enjoy working with children and adolescents
  • Want a predictable daytime schedule
  • Are comfortable working somewhat independently at your assigned site
  • Value autonomy with strong clinical support
  • Are looking for a long-term professional home

If you prefer an adult-only caseload, or you're looking for a school-based/SAP counselor role with a foot in the school's day-to-day operations, this likely isn't the right fit.

📝 How We Hire

To apply, please submit a résumé and a thoughtful cover letter addressing:

  • Your experience working with children or adolescents
  • Your interest in this kind of setting
  • How you approach supporting students navigating emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Why Blossom feels like a place you could grow

Applications submitted without a cover letter will not be considered.

🌱 Why Blossom

We offer:

  • Stability without stagnation
  • Flexibility without chaos
  • Support without micromanagement
  • The opportunity to make a real impact in the community

SPROUTS lets clinicians reach kids early, in a setting that removes most of the reasons families give up on therapy. If that sounds like the work you want to do, we'd love to hear from you.
