Security Officer
1. Access Control
Manage entry and exit points: Control who enters and leaves the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors have access.
Verify identification: Check IDs, badges, or passes to confirm the identity of individuals entering secure areas.
Issue visitor passes: Register and provide passes to visitors, ensuring they are escorted when necessary.
2. Responding to Incidents
Respond to alarms and emergencies: Quickly react to security alarms, disturbances, or emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or break-ins.
Investigate suspicious activities: Approach and assess situations involving unusual or suspicious behavior to determine if further action is needed.
Assist in evacuations: Help organize and facilitate the safe evacuation of people during emergencies.
3. Reporting and Documentation
Document incidents: Write detailed reports on security incidents, breaches, or any unusual occurrences, including who was involved and the actions taken.
Maintain logs: Keep records of daily activities, including patrols, visitor logs, and any security-related observations.
Report maintenance issues: Identify and report any maintenance issues, such as broken locks, malfunctioning security equipment, or hazards that could compromise security.
4. Enforcement of Rules and Policies
Ensure compliance: Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations related to security and safety, such as enforcing no-smoking areas or dress codes.
Remove trespassers: firmly ask unauthorized individuals to leave the premises, using appropriate force only if necessary and within legal limits.
Monitor restricted areas: Keep a close watch on sensitive or restricted areas, ensuring they are only accessed by authorized personnel.
5. Emergency Response
Provide first aid: Administer basic first aid or CPR if trained, until professional medical help arrives.
Coordinate with emergency services: Work with local police, fire, or medical responders during incidents to ensure a coordinated and effective response.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 21 years old and possess a valid commission security license
Minimum of 3 years Commission Officer experience with high threat time
Required Equipment:
Duty pistol with 4 magazines ( i.e. Glock, Sig, M&P, and CZ)
( NO SERPA HOLSTERS, MUST HAVE LVL 3 ALS)

Black tactical shirt and pants
Taser
Baton
O.C.
2 sets of handcuffs
Tourniquet
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION (i.e. personal vehicle)
