Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing employment and personal injury law firm. This individual will play a key role in driving the firm’s growth by building and maintaining referral business relationships with associations, law firms, and businesses. The ideal candidate will be the face of the company at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings, fostering connections and securing referral opportunities in employment and personal injury law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Referral Relationship Building:
- Develop and strengthen referral relationships with other law firms, professional associations, and local businesses.
- Act as a liaison to exchange referrals and foster ongoing collaborations.
- Networking and Outreach:
- Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, trade shows, and community gatherings.
- Cultivate a professional presence to position the firm as a leader in employment and personal injury law.
- Market Development:
- Identify, establish and strength partnerships with law firms, associations, and businesses to drive personal injury and employment referrals.
- Conduct outreach to potential partners in target markets to promote the firm’s services.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement referral strategies and initiatives.
- Track and report on business development efforts, including referral pipelines and ROI.
- Driving Revenue Growth:
- Target high-value relationships to increase employment and personal injury caseloads.
- Identify untapped markets and establish partnerships aligned with the firm’s growth goals.
- Develop tailored outreach strategies to capture and convert high-potential leads.
- Establish revenue-driven KPIs for business development efforts.
- Track and report on the ROI of referral partnerships and market initiatives to ensure alignment with revenue targets.
- Firm Representation:
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the firm’s values and reputation are upheld in all external engagements.
- Stay informed about industry trends to effectively position the firm and provide insights on growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, ideally within the legal industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to network effectively and secure referral partnerships.
- Knowledge of employment and personal injury law is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.
