Black Excellence Group is hiring 2–3 seasonal, part-time Facilitators to support school-year programming (September through May/June) at Portland schools sites. Facilitators lead or support weekly BE Group sessions, build affirming relationships with students, and help create safe, engaging, and joyful spaces for learning and connection. This role averages 2–10 hours per week based on availability and program schedules and requires weekday availability. Facilitators may serve as Lead Facilitators, Co-Facilitators, or both, depending on program needs.

About the Role
We are hiring 2–3 seasonal, part-time Facilitators to join our Program Team for the school year (Late September–May). We're looking for two Facilitators with committed 2-day availability (any combination of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday), and one Facilitator with flexible availability who can also help cover occasional substitute shifts as program needs arise. Facilitators may serve as Lead Facilitator, Co-Facilitator, or both, depending on program needs and your experience. Facilitators are often invited to return for future school years.

Facilitators are culture-setters and atmosphere-shifters. They create safe, engaging, and joyful spaces where students build confidence, connection, and skills. Whether leading or supporting a session, Facilitators play a critical role in delivering BE Group’s activities with care, consistency, and student responsiveness.
