The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Vice President of Multifamily to lead our multifamily investment sales platform in New York City. This is a senior leadership role for a proven closer — someone with deep experience in NYC rent-regulated buildings and the drive to build a dominant business.

You’ll work directly with Bob Knakal to scale our multifamily division, win exclusive listings, and execute high-value transactions. You’ll have the freedom to run your business, backed by the brand, the tools, and the leadership to win in today’s market.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the multifamily division across strategy, execution, and growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, investors, and operators
• Oversee and mentor a growing team of brokers and analysts
• Drive deal execution, pricing strategy, and negotiations
• Deliver market insights rooted in data, regulation, and real-time conditions
• Collaborate with our Zoning & Policy team to unlock value for sellers
• Represent BKREA at major industry events and conferences

What You Bring

• 5–10+ years of experience in multifamily brokerage in NYC
• A minimum of 100 apartment building sales
• Mastery of NYC rent regulation (stabilization, control, legal frameworks)
• A personal track record of winning business and closing deals
• Leadership experience and/or the desire to manage and grow a team
• Clear communication, sharp instincts, and relentless drive
