We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to collaborate with our Executive Chef/General Manager and Executive Sous Chef in overseeing our culinary operations. This is a thrilling opportunity to contribute to a wide range of duties, from menu planning to staff management, and to have a role in our market's culinary direction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to plan and develop menus, ensuring consistent quality and creativity.
  • Assist in managing kitchen staff, providing guidance, and fostering a productive and educational environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and development of kitchen personnel.
  • Manage and oversee stations, ensuring efficient operation and consistent food quality.
  • Help with the procurement of ingredients and control inventory.
  • Step into a Chef de Cuisine role as needed, managing all aspects of the kitchen.


  • Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent experience preferred, not required.
  • Previous experience in a Sous Chef position or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management principles.
  • Creative culinary mind with the ability to create dishes that resonate with our market's unique character.
  • Effective communication skills, leadership capability, and a passion for culinary arts.

Starting base salary: $50,000+ based on the depth and relevance of the candidate's experience. Compensation will also include a bonus plan based on reaching specific revenue targets and operational results.
