Birth Control Pharmacist seeks a Faculty Chair to lead the development of a new Reproductive Health Certificate Program with continuing education credits for pharmacists.
Position Title: Faculty Chair, Reproductive Health Certificate Program for Pharmacists
Overview: We are seeking a qualified and passionate pharmacist to serve as the Faculty Chair for a new Reproductive Health Certificate Program designed for pharmacists. This program aims to provide pharmacists with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their role in reproductive health care, covering key topics such as contraception, abortion, HIV/STI prevention and treatment, and health equity.
The Faculty Chair will play a critical leadership role in the development and delivery of this program. In addition to overseeing the design of the curriculum, the Faculty Chair will lead efforts to recruit and collaborate with expert faculty to ensure a comprehensive, evidence-based, and engaging educational experience for participants.
Key Responsibilities:

Program Design: Work closely with program stakeholders to design and refine the curriculum for the Reproductive Health Certificate Program. Ensure the content aligns with current best practices, evolving guidelines, and the needs of practicing pharmacists.

Faculty Recruitment: Identify and recruit qualified subject matter experts to serve as faculty and peer reviewers for individual program modules. Ensure faculty and peer reviewers are well-versed in their respective areas and can contribute meaningfully to program content.

Faculty Collaboration: Foster a collaborative working environment with module faculty, guiding the development of educational materials, lectures, case studies, and other content. Ensure that all content adheres to the program's learning objectives and maintains the highest standards of quality.
Qualifications:

Relevant Expertise: A strong background in pharmacy clinical practice and education. Experience and/or expertise in reproductive health preferred.

Pharmacy Credentials: Active licensure as a pharmacist, with significant experience in pharmacy practice, ideally in a clinical setting with a focus on reproductive health.

Educational Experience: Previous experience in developing or teaching educational programs, particularly in the context of continuing education for pharmacists.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including subject matter experts, to create effective educational content.
Time Frame: January 2025 - Summer 2025 (estimated)
Compensation: $1500
