Bike Powered Events is a kinetic design company creating sensory experiences that engage events in fun, creative, and empowering ways.

Our events are typically Monday- Friday, 8-10 hr daytime shifts. 

Our most popular service is our Wheely Good Smoothies, bike-powered smoothie catering.

We also have pedal-powered Spin Art, Bubbles, Device Charging, LED sculptures and sound systems.

Responsibilities

• Consistently show up on time and prepared
• Independently compile and pack event equipment
• A driver’s license is required for travel to and from events in our company van
• Set up and maintain service station
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Uphold brand standards for consumer interaction and booth appearance
• Facilitate activity, prepare smoothies while encouraging and engaging riders
• Maintain an understanding of our ingredients and be able to communicate their health benefits.
• Be comfortable initiating conversations with complete strangers
• Breakdown event, clean and sanitize all workspaces
• Complete HACCP logs before, after each event (complete waste and inventory checklist)
• Thoroughly wash and put away all service ware properly
• Fill out event recap report

Job Preferences

• Food preparation experience or certification
• Be open to travel to execute events
• Productive, fast, reliable, energetic, and friendly
• Cleanliness is a must
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to absorb new information quickly
• Excellent customer service skills

Job Requirements

• Be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs. Bikes are heavy!
• Have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company van
• Customer Service Skills - Enjoy interacting with people and putting a smile on their face

Salary

$20 per hour depending on location
