Job Summary

Fallen Leaf Lodge operates from May through October.  We are seeking friendly and outgoing people to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the store and prepare their coffee and ice cream orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their time at our location. The ideal candidate is passionate about the outdoors and customer service and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome customers into the coffee store with a smile
• Take food and beverage orders
• Explain the menu items to customers
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
