Job Summary:

Members of the Big AL Mowing Operations Maintenance Technicians Crews will be tasked with keeping Tennessee roadways maintained and helping to keep them beautiful. This is done by removing trash, debris and other unwanted materials from the sides of our states’ roadways. Teams will be sent out in waves to divide and conquer their territory for the given day. 

Responsibilities:

·      Pick up trash on the city streets of Nashville

·      Go with the driver assigned for that day

·      Follow the directions/instructions of the crew driver

·      Pick up all trash no matter how much there may be at the appropriate pace

Requirements: 

 

·      Works year-round and full-time

·      Normal working days are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break

·      Works outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, cold, and heat

·      Safe and Responsible 

·      Great Attitude 

·      Self-Aware 

·      Reliable 

·      Must be able to be on your feet for hours at a time, hop in and out of a truck repeatedly, and able to walk 5+ miles per day 

·      Must be able to Lift 40lbs 

·      Hand Strength to be able to operate grabbing devices and bags 

·      Able to work in a team setting but also able to work alone 

·      Follows Policies and Procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook

·      Legally in the United States with appropriate documentation to complete Form I9
