Job Title: Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting Big Air, creating engaging online content, supporting community outreach, and helping increase brand awareness, attendance, and event bookings. This position requires creativity, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to represent Big Air professionally.

Responsibilities:


  • Create and publish engaging content for Big Air’s social media accounts.
  • Take high-quality photos and videos of attractions, events, promotions, and team activities.
  • Develop posts, captions, short-form videos, and promotional graphics.
  • Respond professionally to online comments and messages.
  • Promote birthday parties, group events, memberships, specials, and seasonal programs.
  • Help plan and carry out in-park promotions and community events.
  • Build relationships with local schools, churches, youth groups, businesses, and other community organizations.
  • Contact community organizations to promote group events, field trips, fundraisers, spirit nights, and partnership opportunities.
  • Help plan, set up, and facilitate local Big Air Street Team events.
  • Represent Big Air at school functions, festivals, community gatherings, and other off-site events.
  • Prepare and transport promotional materials, displays, games, prizes, and giveaways for Street Team events.
  • Engage with event attendees and provide information about Big Air’s attractions, promotions, parties, and group programs.
  • Assist with outreach visits and the distribution of promotional materials.
  • Follow up with community contacts and maintain organized outreach records.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand image.
  • Track social media engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor online reviews and notify management of guest concerns.
  • Obtain appropriate permission before photographing or recording guests.
  • Assist management with flyers, email promotions, and other marketing materials.
  • Support park operations and guest service when needed.

Qualifications and Availability:


  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must be creative, dependable, organized, outgoing, and self-motivated.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable speaking with representatives from schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Must be comfortable engaging with the public and representing Big Air at off-site events.
  • Must be comfortable taking photos, recording videos, and appearing on camera when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is preferred.
  • Experience with Canva, video-editing applications, marketing, sales, or community outreach is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to work independently, follow up with contacts, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to assist with transporting, setting up, and breaking down event materials.
  • Additional evening, weekend, or holiday availability may occasionally be required for Street Team activities and special events.

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is expected to maintain a professional attitude, follow company policies, protect guest privacy, and represent Big Air positively online and throughout the local community.

Salary

$10 - $15 per hour
