BH Zion LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to gather, analyze, and compose clear and effective technical information. This individual will be instrumental in conducting research, ensuring the use of proper technical terminology, translating technical information for both technical and non-technical personnel, and preparing online documentation for applications designed to run in a Windows environment.

Hiring: FTE or 1099
- Conduct thorough research and ensure the precise utilization of technical terminology within all documentation.
- Translate intricate technical information into easily comprehensible documents that can be understood by both technical and non-technical staff members.
- Responsible for creating and formatting all online documentation utilizing standard help compilers, specifically tailored for Windows-based applications.
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts will be essential in creating user-friendly and informative documentation for a diverse audience.
Your Qualifications:
- An Associate’s Degree in a related field is required.
- Additional qualifications in technical writing or a related field are preferred.
- At least four (4) years of experience in technical writing and documentation, specifically within IT.
- A minimum of two (2) years of specialized experience in preparing technical documentation, including researching applicable standards.
- Agile Foundations Certified Professional (AFCP) preferred.
Location: Various client sites throughout the state of Maryland.
