The Adjunct Psychotherapist independently manages & maintains a modest caseload under BGT's operating systems, policies, and standards of care. Adjunct Psychotherapists are eligible for a fixed salary and premium, employer-subsidized benefits when they meet key performance conditions.
The Adjunct Psychotherapist Program at BGT PLLC offers a unique, benefits-focused employment model for fully licensed private practice therapists in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. This W-2, salaried position requires therapists to independently manage and maintain a modest caseload under BGT’s operating systems. The role is designed to be a secondary income source, with the primary value being access to premium, employer-subsidized benefits typically unavailable to solo practitioners, including a platinum health plan, PTO, and a 401(k) with employer match. While maintaining professional autonomy and the private practices they have worked hard to establish, Adjunct Psychotherapists adhere to BGT's policies and standards of care. Conditional upon meeting specific performance and revenue metrics, Adjunct Psychotherapists are given a commensurate fixed salary and are eligible for benefits.

Benefits & Salary Eligibility Disclaimer: Initial employment status upon hire is compensated as a W-2 commission-based employee (75/25 split of generated income, 75% to the therapist). Benefits eligibility and the transition to a fixed salary commence only after the therapist meets key performance conditions, which is typically confirmed during the first 30-day performance review. Failure to meet key performance conditions by the 90-day performance review results is employee dismissal.
Therapists who live in North Carolina may enroll under BGT's group insurance contracts with Cigna, Aetna and BCBS, and transfer Insurance-based clients into BGT. Therapists who reside in Pennsylvania may enroll in BGT's group insurance contract with Cigna only. Insurance enrollment can take up 8 weeks, and may delay eligibility for benefits.
