The guest service employee’s primary responsibility is to welcome and register guests to the campsite and assist in general office sales and operations. Under the direction of the Client Relationship Supervisor, Park General Manager, and Park Owners

Job Requirements: 

 

  • Provide professional and courteous service to our guests.
  • Greets guests and campground visitors, provides information on campground amenities, services, and policies.
  • Operate the campground office including sales, stocking, merchandising, and housekeeping duties.
  • Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer, inform the manager of major problems, complaints, and disturbances.
  • Answer phones and emails in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Operate computers and provide accurate accounting.
  • Maintain a proper bank, provide accurate handling of monies.
  • Assure a safe environment for guests and employees.


Basic Job Requirements: 

  • Marketing and Guest Relations – The Client Relationship Specialist is responsible for maintaining public relations, outside relations with guests, and the community as a whole. The Specialist will be aware of regularly scheduled calendar of events, promoting them to the general public, and interfacing with feedback.
  • Guest Relations – The Specialist must understand and have a working knowledge of the systems and processes involved in the Guest Relations Roles and maintain proper operation of the reservation system, the park store, and guest feedback.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping – The Specialist must have knowledge of the necessary services and maintenance needs of the park. The Specialist must communicate daily needs and client requests to appropriate departments, ccing the Client Relationship Supervisor and the Park General Manager.  Please use approved Maintenance and Housekeeping software to track requests for the park.  Responsible for keeping the store and rec rooms decorated for the season and events as well as regularly cleaned and appealing to our Guests.


Employment Information: 

  • The specialist has the latitude to work a flexible schedule with the approval of the Client Relationship Supervisor.. Hours will adjust in winter. Specialists may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay commensurate with experience.


Salary

$12 - $15 per hour
