Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and order throughout a busy welding and manufacturing facility. The employee will clean floors, remove trash and debris, maintain restrooms and break areas, and keep assigned areas safe and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and clean warehouse floors.
- Collect and remove trash and debris.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Clean designated work areas around the warehouse.
- Remove dust, dirt, and buildup from assigned areas.
- Maintain clean and clear walkways and entrances.
- Clean and organize janitorial supply areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
- Follow all facility safety rules and required PPE procedures.
- Report spills, hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties during the scheduled shift.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift during the shift.
- Comfortable working in an industrial/welding environment.
- Previous warehouse or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Safety
The employee will be required to follow all facility safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
Important: Employees will not operate welding equipment, machinery, forklifts, or other industrial equipment unless separately trained and authorized.
