We're looking for a trial attorney to own a caseload of complex plaintiff-side civil matters from intake through trial, mentor junior attorneys and staff, and help shape firm-wide case strategy. This is a high-impact role for a litigator who wants real ownership over outcomes and a genuine path to grow with the firm as it scales.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload of plaintiff civil matters from pre-litigation through trial.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents in California state and federal courts.
  • Conduct depositions, oral arguments, hearings, and jury trials.
  • Develop case strategy in partnership with clients and firm leadership.
  • Negotiate settlements to maximize client outcomes.
  • Mentor and supervise associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

 

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active California State Bar license in good standing.
  • 3-7+ years of civil litigation experience with significant plaintiff-side work.
  • Demonstrated jury trial experience.
  • Strong command of California civil procedure and evidence rules.
  • Prior supervisory or mentorship experience preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000–$200,000+ DOE
  • Guaranteed base salary with unlimited commission potential. We want you to earn as much as possible while fighting for the best outcome for our clients.
  • 401(k): up to 4% employer match on a 5% contribution (Fidelity).
  • Health insurance: medical, dental, and vision, with 85% of employee premium covered.
  • Paid time off: 3 weeks PTO, plus the week between Christmas and New Year, plus 10 paid holidays.
  • Firm-paid State Bar dues, malpractice coverage, and a professional-development allowance for MCLE and legal organization membership.
  • $50/month cell phone stipend
