Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and caring individuals to join our team as Home Companions. In this role, you will provide non-clinical support, including companionship, supervision, and assistance with household tasks to help clients remain comfortable and engaged in their daily lives.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact without performing direct hands-on care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with daily routines such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Offer supervision and safety monitoring, especially for individuals living alone.
  • Engage clients in conversation, recreational activities, or outings as needed.
  • Run errands or provide escort to appointments (as authorized).
  • Report any changes in client behavior or condition to the supervising team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of visits and tasks performed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, customer service, or companionship roles is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Ability to pass a background check and basic health screening.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged (training provided if needed).


Salary

$18 - $20 per hour
