The Home Health Aide (Basic) is assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professional and performs services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort.

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Health Aide (Basic Level) to assist clients with non-medical, daily living activities under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other licensed healthcare professional.
This is an entry-level role ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in clients’ lives by promoting safety, comfort, and independence at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Support clients with safe mobility and transfers.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation of care and services provided.
- Follow the care plan and report any issues or concerns to the agency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Completion of Home Health Aide training program or relevant experience in caregiving.
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before starting).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and health screening.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Salary
$17 - $20 per hour
