Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Monitor clients for changes in physical or emotional condition and report to supervising nurse
  • Follow care plans developed by the nurse or care coordinator
  • Support clients with medication reminders (no medication administration)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
  • Uphold client privacy, dignity, and respect at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
  • Must complete agency-provided caregiver training upon hire
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (must be obtained before or during onboarding)
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Must pass a background check and health screening
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes

Salary

$18 - $20 per hour
