Position Summary

BetterHealth LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Advanced Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist clients with personal care, monitor health conditions, and support daily living needs in accordance with each client’s care plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation
• Perform basic health monitoring (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration) and report observations to supervising nurse
• Assist with medication reminders and documentation under supervision
• Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance using safe lifting techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency protocols
• Participate in care plan updates, team meetings, and ongoing training
• Respond to client needs with compassion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
• Ensure client safety and maintain infection control standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing setting
• CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
• Must pass background check and health screening
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned areas
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary care team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with clients with complex medical or behavioral needs
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems (e.g., Alora)
• CNA certification is a plus
