This is a part-time, non-exempt position working up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning and play.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Assist with snack, lunch, playground, and daily routines.
• Encourage positive behavior and healthy social development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Participate in chapel and other preschool activities.
• Follow all safety, licensing, and Bethany Preschool policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, patient, and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively supervise young children.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and meet applicable licensing requirements.
