Berkeley Staffing is hiring for various projects across the Lowcountry area. We’re seeking hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic to assist in general construction and industrial labor tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate deliveries with vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Perform assigned tasks as needed
- Anticipate and address potential issues before they arise
- Recruit and oversee subcontractor workforce
- Effectively communicate project plans and timelines to subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage project costs and adhere to timelines
- Interpret construction plans and blueprints for project execution
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wood framing construction preferred
- Proficient with hand-held tools and equipment
- Detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle workload
- Ability to follow and implement construction plans
- Experience in scheduling, material ordering, field supervision, quality control, and wood construction production
