Description
Responsibilities
• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
• Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments or activities as needed.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Follow infection control, safety, and privacy protocols to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements
• No certification required — training provided!
• Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or home health preferred but not required.
• Must be compassionate, reliable, and patient.
• Ability to follow instructions and document client care activities as needed.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or other chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with home care procedures and basic caregiving techniques.
