Responsible for designing and implementing processes for project intake, prioritization, and execution, the Intake Program Manager will facilitate short-term and long-term goal planning sessions. Serving as the central point of coordination for all project requests within the Data & Analytics Division, this role monitors complex, cross-functional projects related to reporting, data analytics, data engineering, AI, and robotics process automation.

The Data & Analytics Intake Program Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Data & Analytics Division by managing the intake process, which includes the intake of new project requests, squad assignment, and ensuring squads are adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  Responsible for designing and implementing processes for project intake, prioritization, and execution, the Intake Program Manager will facilitate short-term and long-term goal planning sessions. Serving as the central point of coordination for all project requests within the Data & Analytics Division, this role monitors complex, cross-functional projects related to reporting, data analytics, data engineering, AI, and robotics process automation.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Facilitate Planning Sessions:
  • Lead the department's short-term and long-term goal planning sessions.
  • Align project objectives with organizational strategies and goals.
  • Manage Project Intake Process:
  • Facilitate weekly intake meetings to review new project requests with department leads and directors.
  • Design and implement effective processes for project intake, prioritization, and execution.
  • Actively manage the backlog of project requests, ensuring timely follow-up and progression from submission to closure.
  • Manage end-to-end ticket intake process, including triage, initial customer communication, internal communication as needed, and follow up on open or aged tickets as needed.
  • Coordinate with Team Leads:
  • Collaborate with team leads to assess team capacity for new project assignments.
  • Assist in reprioritizing projects based on capacity, timelines, and strategic impact.
  • Ensure team leads have all necessary information to present at intake meetings.
  • Oversee Cross-Functional Projects:
  • Monitor multiple high-visibility and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Monitor conflicts and assess the impact of strategic initiatives on project execution.
  • Partner with delivery and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into project plans and technical solutions.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Own and maintain mechanisms to manage requirements and prioritization for all incoming requests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project intake and execution workflows.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Data & Analytics Division project requests.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of data and project status.
  • Communicate project statuses, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Compliance and Data Governance:
  • Ensure that all activities adhere to relevant legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity and compliance by working to establish and maintain data governance practices.


Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required):

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management within data and analytics environments.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on intake and prioritization processes.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, data engineering, AI, and robotics process automation concepts.


Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Preferred):

  • Education:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience and Certifications:
  • Experience implementing process improvements in project intake and execution.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a Data & Analytics department.
  • Prior experience working with teams that use Google Cloud products.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Agile or Scrum certification.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Familiarity with resource capacity planning and project portfolio management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning project lifecycles.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.

Salary:

W2 Hourly Rate: $55.00-$75.00 (US) per hour. The salary range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
